
About Me

Luke Harmon is a Freelance Stage Manager, and Commodity Manager in the Northern Illinois Area, and has been involved in theatre since 2011.​
​
A graduate of Northern Illinois University, where he received his BFA in Theatre Design & Technology. While he was pursuing his Associate's degree at Elgin Community College. He reached out to local theatres in the Dekalb and Kane County areas and expanded his knowledge and love for all things backstage, especially Stage Management. Some venues where he has stage managed include Kane Repertory Theatre, The Elgin Visual Performing Arts Center, The Stage Coach Players, and The Children's Community Theatre of Dekalb. Where he focuses on storefront, academic theatre, and ballet.

During his time at NIU, he discovered other areas of passion such as production photography, set construction and light design, since then, he has made every effort to explore every opportunity in those realms as well. When not in the booth, Luke also works as a Commodity Manager in a Project Managment role for Mitsubishi Heavy Industries.

Luke is a member of the Stage Manager's Association, Stage Coach Players, and the Educational Theatre Association.
